A roving performance powered by Shaw residents wielding illuminated punctuation mark signs that spark wonderment and fuel storytelling. Passersby can use these familiar symbols to highlight a favorite building, question the name of a store, or unify a group with an ampersand. Punctuation on the sidewalks of Shaw provides a new tool to clarify the changing neighborhood.

Bourelly is an innovative and experimental guitarist and composer who blends and bends various musical styles into cohesive expression, informed by the migrant community of Haiti and the southern culture of Chicago's south side, where he grew up. He will be joined by bassist Luke Stewart and percussionist-composer-bandleader Nasar Abadey.
